Heelium Running Tips

Warm up
Warming up before any strenuous exercise including running is very important. A simple jog or stretch can help to prevent muscle pulls, injuries and tiring out easily. A quick, good warm up helps to prepare the body for an intense physical activity.

Ease into it
If you’re a beginner in running, then you’ll want to keep this in mind. You cannot suddenly jolt your body into vigorous activity. Instead, try easing into it. This way, your body will be ready to perform better. Going slow with running will not exhaust your body quickly.

Breathe away
Breathing is one of the most crucial aspects of running that many tend to ignore. Taking breaths the right way can help prevent injuries and muscle pulls. Rhythmic breathing helps to centre the run around the breath and body pace.

Let gravity work
While running, you need to try and use all the external factors to propel you forward. As you run, try to keep your leading foot in line with your body upright and let gravity work its magic when you push off.

Go to sleep
Your body needs full rest and sleep to recover from the strenuous activity. Runners usually train in the morning, so they have to go to bed early to get enough rest. This is especially important if you’re going to push your body to do better every day.
