Purpose - Why we created this Blog
We interact with a lot of folks on a daily basis who are so-called ‘Health Freaks’, just as we are. And we’ve found that more often than not, they know what they need to do. Run 5 km every day for ‘cardio’, stretch before you exercise, meditate for mental peace, so on and so forth.
But what we’ve noticed is while they know the ‘what’, they often don’t know the ‘why’ or ‘how’.
How does meditation actually help?
Why is cardio important for fat burning?
Why is optimum sleep necessary?
We feel it is important that people make educated decisions when it comes to their health. We also know that the reason why people don’t understand these ‘whys’ and ‘hows’ is that the science can get a little too complicated sometimes.
So, what we aim to do here is simplify the science and address some of the myths pertaining to health, fitness and diet.
You may also find yourself reading about environmental sustainability, as we feel it is critical that everyone understands the severity of the situation and how high the stakes are.
We do not need another pandemic to teach us how to live the right way.
