The opportunity

Make everyday operations dependable.

Good operations show up in the details: the right stock in the right place, accurate records and orders ready when they need to be.

You will work hands-on across receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, returns and vendor coordination. This is an execution role with responsibility for closing tasks and flagging problems early.

Your job is to make daily operations reliable, investigate mismatches and improve the routines behind them.

How we work

Ownership is visible in the details.

High agency

Notice the problem, propose a next step and keep progress moving without repeated follow-ups.

Accuracy & follow-through

Check the details, document what changed and verify the result before closing a task.

Ethics & low ego

Be honest about mistakes and results. Protect customers and quality, and welcome feedback.

Practical improvement

Fix recurring problems with clear checklists, ownership and routines that people can use.

Your scope

What you will own.

Warehouse execution

Check incoming quantities and condition, record receipts, organise storage and support accurate picking, packing and dispatch.

Inventory accuracy

Maintain SKU records, conduct cycle counts and reconcile physical stock with system balances. Document discrepancies and resolve their cause.

Vendor follow-through

Track deliveries, shortages and pending commitments. Keep clear records, follow up consistently and escalate delays with practical options.

Returns & operating records

Inspect and route returns correctly, maintain trackers and keep hand-offs clear. Flag quality concerns before stock goes back into circulation.

Real work, real decisions

The problems you will walk into

  • The system shows 120 units but the shelf has 96. You reconcile receipts, dispatches and returns before making a documented correction.
  • A vendor delivery is short or damaged. You record the evidence, protect usable stock and follow through until the discrepancy is resolved.
  • Dispatch is approaching while returns and incoming stock are waiting. You prioritise the work, communicate risks and keep records current.
  • You spot a quality issue during packing. You hold the affected stock and escalate rather than passing the problem to the customer.

What good looks like

Accuracy you can depend on.

Your first 90 days

Learn the warehouse flow and SKU system, maintain dependable daily records and complete stock checks with clear follow-up on discrepancies. Improve one recurring source of error.

By six to twelve months

Stock records and physical inventory stay aligned. Dispatch hand-offs and vendor follow-ups are dependable, and recurring errors are investigated and reduced.

What you bring

  • Hands-on experience with warehouse, inventory or operations tasks, with examples of work you personally completed.
  • Comfort using Excel or Google Sheets to maintain stock, delivery and follow-up trackers; willingness to learn inventory systems.
  • Careful checking, clear documentation and the discipline to finish routine work consistently.
  • Honest communication, practical judgement and readiness to work on the warehouse floor rather than only coordinate from a desk.

AI-generated answers will be filtered out. We are hiring you, not adding a subscription. Write in your own words and use your own experiences and judgement.

Set aside 20–30 minutes for five sections: your background, ownership and accuracy, warehouse and vendor experience, practical scenarios, and working fit. Concise, specific answers matter more than polished language.

  1. Apply with evidence

Bring a CV link and relevant examples of your individual contribution. Anonymised examples and approximate figures are welcome.

  2. Discuss the work

If shortlisted, talk through your approach to stock discrepancies, prioritisation and follow-through with the hiring team.

  3. Confirm mutual fit

Discuss expectations, working arrangements and how you would contribute before moving forward.
